Hadith 33089
٣٣٠٨٩ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال: أخبرنا هشام بن حسان قال: كان أول وصية محمد بن سيرين: هذا ما أوصى به محمد بن أبي عمرة: أنه (يشهد) (١) أن لا إله إلا اللَّه وأن محمدا عبده ورسوله، وأوصى بنيه وأهله أن اتقوا اللَّه وأصلحوا ذات بينكم وأطيعوا اللَّه ورسوله إن كنتم مؤمنين، (وأوصيهم) (٢) بما أوصى به إبراهيم بنيه ⦗٢٤٢⦘ ويعقوب: ﴿يَابَنِيَّ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَى لَكُمُ الدِّينَ فَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ﴾ [البقرة: ١٣٢]، وزعم أنها كانت أول وصية أنس بن مالك (٣). [تم كتاب الوصايا بحمد اللَّه وعونه] (٤)
Hisham bin Hassan narrates that the first bequest of Muhammad bin Sirin, may Allah have mercy on him, was: This is the bequest that Muhammad bin Abi Umrah made. I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah and Muhammad ﷺ is Allah’s servant and His Messenger, and I advise my sons and my household to fear Allah and to live together in a good manner, and if they are believers, to obey Allah and His Messenger. And I advise them with what Ibrahim (peace be upon him) advised his sons and Yaqub (peace be upon him) advised his sons: “O my sons! Indeed, Allah has chosen the religion for you, so do not die except as Muslims.” And he says that this was also the first bequest of Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him). You have reached the Book of Bequests by the praise of Allah and His help (By the praise of Allah, the Book of Bequests has come to an end).
