Hadith 32963
٣٢٩٦٣ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن عبيد اللَّه عن نافع عن ابن عمر قال: ذكر عند عمر الثلث في الوصية، (فقال) (١): الثلث وسط، لا بخس ولا شطط (٢).
It is narrated from Nafi‘ that Hazrat Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said that when the mention of bequeathing one third of wealth was brought before Hazrat ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: One third is a moderate amount. It is neither too little nor too much.
