Hadith 32961
٣٢٩٦١ - حدثنا وكيع عن هشام عن أبيه عن ابن عباس قال: وددت أن الناس غضوا من الثلث إلى الربع؛ لأن رسول اللَّه ﷺ قال: "الثلث كثير" (١).
Urwah narrates that Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said that people began to make bequests of less than one third, making it one fourth of their wealth, because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had said: "One third is much."
