It is narrated from Mustamir bin Rayyan that he said: I was in the Grand Mosque with Hazrat Jabir bin Zaid when Hazrat Zararah bin Aufi, who was the judge at that time, said to him: A case has come before me of a minor boy who had freed his slave, and the guardians refused to accept it. My opinion was to reject this emancipation, and then later, when the boy reaches maturity and love for wealth enters his heart, at that time if he wishes to enforce the emancipation of the slave, he may do so, and if he wishes to withdraw from the emancipation, he may do so.
