Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Abu Bakr bin Amr bin Hazm narrates that a young man from Ghassan used to live in Madinah, whose heirs resided in Syria, and he had a paternal aunt in Madinah Munawwarah. When his time of death approached, his aunt came to Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), mentioned his condition, and asked whether the boy could make a will. He replied: Has he reached puberty? She said: No. He said: Then he can make a will. The narrator says that the boy made a will of a date orchard for his aunt. The narrator further says that I sold that orchard for the woman for thirty thousand dirhams.
