٣٢٨٨٠ - حدثنا (عبيد) (١) اللَّه بن موسى عن موسى بن عبيدة عن واقد بن محمد ابن زيد أن رجلًا مات وترك مالًا وأوصى به في سبيل اللَّه] (٢) فذكر ذلك الوصي لعمر ابن الخطاب فقال: أعطه عمال اللَّه، (قال) (٣): وما عمال اللَّه؟ قال: حجاج بيت اللَّه (٤).
It is narrated from Waqid bin Muhammad bin Zaid that a man, at the time of his death, left some wealth and made a will for it to be given in the way of Allah. The executor of his will mentioned this matter before Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), so he said: "Give that wealth to those who work for Allah." He asked, "Who are those who work for Allah?" He replied: "The pilgrims of the House of Allah (the Ka'bah)."
