Hadith 32544
٣٢٥٤٤ - حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي عن سفيان عن أبيه قال: سمعت إبراهيم التيمي يقول: إنما حملني على مجلسي هذا أني رأيت كأني (أقسم) (١) ريحانًا بين الناس، فذكرت ذلك لإبراهيم النخعي، فقال: (إن) (٢) الريحان له (منظر) (٣) وطعمه مر.
Hazrat Sufyan narrates from his father that he says: I heard Ibrahim Taimi saying that I was compelled to attend this gathering because I saw in a dream that I was distributing "Raihan" flowers among people. I mentioned this dream to Ibrahim Nakha'i, so he said: The appearance of Raihan is very beautiful, but its taste is bitter.
