Hadith 32496
٣٢٤٩٦ - حدثنا محمد بن عبد اللَّه الأسدي عن عمر بن سعيد بن أبي (الحسين) (١) قال: حدثني عطاء بن أبي رباح عن أبي هريرة قال: جاء رجل (إلى) (٢) النبي ﷺ فقال: إني رأيت في المنام كأن رأسي (ضربت) (٣) فرأيته بيدي هذه، قال: فقال (٤) رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "يعمد الشيطان إلى أحدكم فيتهول (له) (٥) ثم يغدو فيخبر الناس" (٦).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "I saw in a dream that my head was cut off and then I saw myself holding my head in my own hand." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Satan comes to one of you in a frightening form and causes him to be afraid, and then that person starts telling people about it in the morning."
