Hadith 32495
٣٢٤٩٥ - حدثنا وكيع قال حدثنا الأعمش عن أبي سفيان عن جابر قال: جاء رجل إلى النبي ﷺ فقال: يا رسول اللَّه (رأيت في المنام) (١) كأن رأسي قطع، قال: ⦗٦٨⦘ فضحك النبي ﷺ (و) (٢) قال: "إذا لعب الشيطان بأحدكم (في منامه) (٣) فلا يحدث به الناس" (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! I saw in a dream that my head was cut off." The narrator states that upon this, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) laughed and said, "When any of you is played with by Satan in a dream, he should not relate it to the people."
