Hadith 32305
٣٢٣٠٥ - (حدثنا معاوية بن هشام) (١) (قال: حدثنا سفيان عن (جبلة)) (٢) (٣) ابن سحيم عن عامر بن مطر قال: كنت مع حذيفة فقال: (كيف) (٤) أنت يا عامر بن مطر إذا أخذ الناس طريقًا، والقرآن طريقًا، مع أيهما تكون؟ فقلت: مع القرآن أحيا معه (و) (٥) أموت، قال: فأنت إذن (٦).
Hazrat Amir bin Matar narrates that I was with Hazrat Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him), so he said: O Amir bin Matar, what will be your condition when people make a path and the path of the Qur'an will be separate? So with which of the two will you be? I said: I will live with the Qur'an and, if need be, die with it. He said: Then it will be very good.
