Hadith 32268
٣٢٢٦٨ - حدثنا الفضل بن دكين قال: حدثني الوليد بن جميع قال: حدثني رجل أنه أم الناس بالحيرة خالد بن الوليد ثم قرأ من سور شتى ثم التفت إلينا حين انصرف فقال: شغلنا الجهاد عن (تعلم) (١) القرآن (٢).
Hazrat Waleed bin Jamee’ narrates that a man told me that Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed led the people in prayer at the place of Heerah and recited from various Surahs. After completing the prayer, he turned towards us and said: Jihad has kept us occupied from learning the Qur’an.
