Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ikrimah narrates that Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) offered prayer in a garment in such a way that he passed the garment under his right armpit and placed it over his left shoulder. Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that there is no harm in offering prayer in a single garment, provided that it is wrapped around the body and one hand is left outside.
