Hadith 32195
٣٢١٩٥ - حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن عبد العزيز بن رفيع عن شداد بن معقل قال: قال عبد اللَّه: إن هذا القرآن الذي بين أظهركم يوشك أن ينزع منك، قال: قلت: كيف ينزع منا وقد أثبته اللَّه في قلوبنا وأثبتناه في مصاحفنا؟ قال: يسرى عليه في ليلة واحدة (فينزع) (١) ما في القلوب، ويذهب ما في المصاحف، ويصبح الناس منه فقراء، ثم قرأ: ﴿وَلَئِنْ شِئْنَا لَنَذْهَبَنَّ بِالَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ﴾ (٢) [الإسراء: ٨٦].
Hazrat Shaddad bin Miq’al narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Verily, this Qur’an which is preserved in your hearts, soon it will be taken away from you. The narrator says: I asked, “How will it be taken away from us when we have preserved it in our hearts and recorded it in our scriptures?” He replied: Then a night will pass over it such that whatever is preserved in the hearts will be taken away and whatever is recorded in the manuscripts will be erased. And people will wake up in the morning in such a state that they will be empty of it. Then he recited this verse: “And if We willed, We could surely take away that which We have revealed to you.”
