Hadith 32022
٣٢٠٢٢ - حدثنا عفان قال: حدثنا سليمان بن المغيرة قال: حدثنا ثابت قال: كان أبو هريرة يقول: (١) البيت (٢) إذا تلي فيه كتاب اللَّه اتسع بأهله وكثر خيره ⦗٤٢١⦘ وحضرته الملائكة وخرجت منه الشياطين، والبيت الذي (٣) لم يتل فيه كتاب اللَّه ضاق بأهله وقيل خيره (٤) وحضره الشياطين (٥).
Hazrat Thabit narrates that Hazrat Abu Hurairah used to say: In the house where the Book of Allah is recited, the people of that house are granted abundance, and goodness increases. Angels are present there, and devils leave that house. And in the house where the Book of Allah is not recited, the people of that house face constriction, and goodness decreases. Devils are present there.
