في الصلاة في الثوب الواحدRuling on praying in a single garment
Hadith 3197
٣١٩٧ - حدثنا ملازم بن عمرو (عن) (١) عبد اللَّه بن بدر عن قيس بن طلق بن علي عن أبيه قال: جاء رجل فقال: يا نبي اللَّه ما ترى في الصلاة في (الثوب) (٢) الواحد؟ قال: فأطلق (نبي اللَّه) (٣) ﷺ إزاره (فطارق) (٤) به رداءه، ثم اشتمل بهما، ثم صلى بنا، فلما قضى الصلاة قال: "أَكُلُّكُمْ يَجِدُ ثَوْبَيْنِ؟ " (٥).
Hazrat Taliq bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a man came and asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What do you say about performing prayer in a single garment?" Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) covered his private parts with his sheet instead of his lower garment, and then led us in prayer. After completing the prayer, he said, "Does each one of you have two garments?"
