Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Khalid al-Asri narrates that when Hazrat Salman came to us, we presented ourselves before him so that he might teach us the Qur'an. So he said: The Qur'an is in the Arabic language. Therefore, learn it from an Arab man. So we learned from Hazrat Zayd bin Suhan. Whenever he recited incorrectly, Hazrat Salman would correct him. And when he recited correctly, he would say: By Allah, it is exactly like this.
