ما يدعو به الرجل (ويقوله) إذا وضع الميت في قبرهSupplication and Words to Say When Placing the Deceased in the Grave
Hadith 31833
٣١٨٣٣ - حدثنا وكيع بن الجراح عن سفيان عن عمرو بن مرة عن خيثمة قال: كانوا يستحبون إذا وضع الميت في القبر أن (يقولوا) (١): بسم اللَّه، وفي سبيل اللَّه، وعلى ملة رسول اللَّه ﷺ، اللهم أجره من عذاب القبر وعذاب النار وشر الشيطان.
Hazrat Khaythamah says that the Companions liked that when the deceased was lowered into the grave, they would say: With the name of Allah, and in the way of Allah, and upon the method of the Messenger of Allah. O Allah! Protect him from the punishment of the grave, and from the punishment of Hell, and from the evil of Satan.
