Hadith 31793
٣١٧٩٣ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن محمد بن إسحاق عن محمد بن إبراهيم بن ⦗٣٥٠⦘ الحارث عن عطاء بن يسار عن جابر بن عبد اللَّه قال: سمعت رسول اللَّه ﷺ (يقول) (١): وإذا سمعتم (صياح) (٢) الكلاب (أو نهاق) (٣) الحمار من الليل فتعوذوا باللَّه فإنهن يرين ما لا ترون" (٤).
Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: When you hear the barking of dogs and the braying of donkeys at night, seek refuge in Allah, for surely they see things which you do not see.
