Hadith 31734
٣١٧٣٤ - حدثنا حسين بن علي قال: سألت هشام بن حسان: أي شيء (كان الحسن) (١) (يقول) (٢) إذا رأى الهلال؟ قال: كان يقول: اللهم اجعله شهر بركة ونور وأجر ومعافاة، اللهم إنك قاسم بين عباد من عبادك فيه خيرا فاقسم لنا فيه من خير ما تقسم لعبادك الصالحين.
Hazrat Husain bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I asked Hazrat Hisham bin Hassan: When Hazrat Hasan would see the new moon, which supplication would he recite? He replied: He would recite this supplication! O Allah! Make this month a month of blessing and light, and a month of reward and forgiveness. O Allah, You are the One who distributes goodness among Your servants, so distribute for us also from that goodness which You have distributed among Your righteous servants.
