ما يدعو به الرجل إذا رأى الهلالSupplication Upon Sighting the New Moon
Hadith 31729
٣١٧٢٩ - حدثنا حاتم بن إسماعيل عن عبد الرحمن بن حرملة قال: انصرفت مع سعيد بن المسيب فقلنا: هذا الهلال يا أبا محمد، فلما أبصره قال: آمنت بالذي خلقك فسواك فعدلك، ثم التفت إلي فقال: كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ إذا (رأى) (١) الهلال قال هكذا (٢).
Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Harmalah narrates that I was returning with Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib, so we said: O Abu Muhammad! This is the new moon. When he saw it, he said: I believe in the One who created you, then made you balanced and made you perfect. Then, turning towards me, he said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw the new moon, he used to supplicate in this manner.
