ما قالوا: في الرجل إذا بخل بماله أو جبن عن العدو وعن الليل أن يقومه (و) ما يدعو بهSupplication for One Who Is Stingy with Wealth, Fears the Enemy, or Cannot Stand at Night
Hadith 31708
٣١٧٠٨ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن زبيد عن (مرة) (١) قال: قال عبد اللَّه: من جبن منكم عن العدو أن يجاهده، والليل أن يكابده، وضن بالمال أن ينفقه فليكثر من: سبحان اللَّه، والحمد للَّه، ولا إله إلا اللَّه، واللَّه أكبر (٢).
Hazrat Murrah narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whoever among you is unable to strive against the enemy, cannot endure hardship at night, and due to miserliness cannot spend wealth, then he should frequently recite these words: Allah is free from all defects, and all praise is for Allah, and there is no deity except Allah, and Allah is the Greatest.
