من رخص أن (يقضي) قبل أن ينحرفThose who permit completing salah before the imam turns away
Hadith 3158
٣١٥٨ - حدثنا هشيم قال: أخبرنا (أبو) (١) هارون قال: صليت بالمدينة فسبقت ببعض الصلاة، فلما سلم الإمام قمت لأقضي ما سبقت (به) (٢)، فجبذني رجل كان إلى جنبي، ثم قال: كان ينبغي لك أن لا تقوم حتى ينحرف، قال: فلقيت أبا سعيد (فذكرت له ذلك) (٣)، فكأنه لم يكره ما صنعت أو كلمة نحوها (٤).
Hazrat Abu Haroon says that once I performed prayer in Madinah Munawwarah, and I missed a part of the congregational prayer. When the Imam finished the prayer with salam, I stood up to complete the remaining part of my prayer. Meanwhile, a man standing next to me pulled me forcefully and said that you should not stand up until the Imam turns his face. I mentioned this incident to Hazrat Abu Saeed, and he did not consider my action to be objectionable at all.
