Hadith 31423
٣١٤٢٣ - حدثنا ابن نمير عن (إسرائيل) (١) عن أبي سنان عن أبي الأحوص عن عبد اللَّه بن مسعود قال: من قال: استغفر اللَّه الذي لا إله إلا هو الحي القيوم وأتوب إليه ثلاثًا، غفر له وإن كان فر من الزحف (٢).
Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whoever recites the words of forgiveness three times as follows: I seek forgiveness from Allah, besides whom there is no deity, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all, and I repent to Him for my sins. Then that person's sins are forgiven, even if he had fled from the battlefield.
