Hadith 31407
٣١٤٠٧ - حدثنا أسود بن عامر حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن علي بن زيد عن سعيد بن المسيب قال: كنا عند سعد بن مالك فسكت سكتة فقال: لقد أصبت ⦗٢١٦⦘ (بسكتتي) (١) هذه مثل ما سقى النيل والفرات، قال: قلنا: وما أصبت؟ قال: سبحان اللَّه والحمد للَّه ولا إله إلا اللَّه واللَّه أكبر (٢).
Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib narrates that we were with Hazrat Saad bin Malik when he was overcome by a stupor. Then he said: Indeed, what has overcome me is as if the rivers Nile and Euphrates have flooded it. Hazrat Saeed bin Al-Musayyib says: We asked, "What happened to you?" He replied, "Allah is Pure, and all praise is for Allah, and there is no deity except Allah, and Allah is the Greatest."
