دعاء داود النبي ﵇The Supplication of Prophet Dawud (David) (peace be upon him)
Hadith 31356
٣١٣٥٦ - حدثنا (عفان) (١) حدثنا حماد بن سلمة قال: أخبرني حبيب بن شهيد عن ابن بريدة أن داود النبي ﵇ كان يقول: اللهم إني أعوذ بك من عمل (يخزي) (٢)، وهوى (يردي) (٣)، وفقر (ينسي) (٤)، وغنى (يطغي) (٥).
It is narrated from Ibn Buraidah that Dawud used to supplicate as follows: O Allah! I seek refuge in You from such deeds that bring disgrace, from such desires that lead to destruction, and from such wealth that makes one rebellious.
