Hadith 31288
٣١٢٨٨ - حدثنا عبيد اللَّه بن موسى عن إسرائيل عن أبي إسحاق عن أبي ميسرة قال: كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقول عند منامه: "أعوذ بوجهك الكريم وكلماتك التامة من شر ما أنت باطش بناصيته، اللهم إنك (أنت) (١) تكشف المأثم والمغرم، اللهم لا يخلف وعدك ولا يهزم جندك، ولا ينفع ذا الجد منك الجد، سبحانك وبحمدك (٢).
Hazrat Abu Maisarah narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to recite this supplication when going to sleep: (O Allah) I seek refuge in Your generous Being and in Your complete words from the evil of everything whose forelock is in Your grasp. O Allah! You are the One who grants deliverance from sins and debts. O Allah! Your promise cannot be broken, and Your army cannot be defeated, and no one of status can benefit from their status in Your presence. You are free from all defects and You are praised with Your praise.
