ما قالوا: في الرجل إذا أخذ مضجعه (و) أوى إلى فراشه، ما يدعو به؟Those Who Say: What Supplication Should Be Made When Going to Bed?
Hadith 31266
٣١٢٦٦ - حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن أبي إسحاق عن البراء قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: " (١) يا فلان إذا أويت إلى فراشك فقل: اللهم أسلمت نفسي إليك، (ووجهت وجهي إليك) (٢)، ووليت ظهري إليك -ثم ذكره نحوه- إلا أنه قال: فإن مت من ليلتك مت على الفطرة وإن أصبحت أصبحت خيرًا" (٣).
Hazrat Bara’ narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to a man: O so-and-so! When you lie down on your bed, say these words: “O Allah! I have submitted my soul to You, and I have turned my back towards You.” Then he mentioned the same content as before, but also said: So if you die that night, your death will be upon the natural disposition (fitrah), and if you reach the morning, then you will attain goodness.
