ما (ذا) يقول الرجل إذا انصرف؟What should one say after salam?
Hadith 3125
٣١٢٥ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن المسيب بن رافع عن وراد مولى المغيرة بن شعبة قال: كتب معاوية إلى المغيرة بن شعبة: أي شيء كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ يقول إذا سلم (من) (١) الصلاة؟ قال: فأملاها على المغيرة بن شعبة فكتب بها (إلى) (٢) معاوية: أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ كان يقول إذا سلم: "لَا إِلَهَ إلا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الملك، وَلَهُ الحْمَدُ، وَهْوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَديرٌ، اللَّهُمَّ لَا مَانعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ، وَلَا مُعْطِي لِمَا مَنَعْتَ، وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الجْدِّ مِنْكِ الجَدّ" (٣).
Hazrat Warrad says that Hazrat Muawiyah wrote a letter to Hazrat Mughirah bin Shu’bah asking which words the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say after concluding the prayer with salam. Hazrat Mughirah dictated those words to me and I sent them to Hazrat Muawiyah. In that letter, he wrote that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say these words after concluding the prayer with salam: There is no deity except Allah, He is alone, there is no deity except Him. Sovereignty belongs to Him and all praise is for Him. He has power over everything. O Allah! No one can withhold what You give, and no one can give what You withhold. A man’s wealth and children cannot benefit him against You in any way.
