Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are two good habits; whoever guards them will enter Paradise. Both are easy, yet those who do them are few." It was asked: "O Messenger of Allah! What are those two habits?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "They are the five prayers. Whoever, after every prayer, says Subhan Allah ten times, Alhamdulillah ten times, and Allahu Akbar ten times, then in terms of what is uttered by the tongue, it will be one hundred and fifty (150), and in terms of weight on the scale, it will be one thousand five hundred (1500)." Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) counting them on his fingers." "And the second good habit is that when a person lies down on his bed at night, he says Subhan Allah thirty-three times, Alhamdulillah thirty-three times, and Allahu Akbar thirty-four times. So, in terms of what is uttered by the tongue, it will be one hundred (100), and in terms of weight on the scale, it will be one thousand." "So, who among you commits two and a half thousand sins at night?"
