٣١١٢٩ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم التيمي قال: كان يقال: إذا بدأ الرجل بالثناء قبل الدعاء فقد (استوجب) (١)، وإذا بدأ بالدعاء قبل الثناء كان على رجاء.
Ibrahim Taimi says that it was said: When a person praises Allah before supplication, then surely his supplication is accepted, and when he begins supplication before praising Allah, then there is hope for the acceptance of his supplication.
