Hadith 31088
٣١٠٨٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: (حدثنا) (١) (عبيدة) (٢) بن حميد عن عبد الملك عن مصعب بن سعد عن أبيه قال: كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ يعلمنا هذه الكلمات: "اللهم إني أعوذ بك من البخل، وأعوذ بك من الجبن، وأعوذ بك أن (أرد) (٣) إلى أرذل العمر، وأعوذ بك من فتنة الدنيا وعذاب القبر" (٤).
Hazrat Sa’d narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to teach us these supplicatory words: O Allah! I seek refuge in You from miserliness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice, and I seek refuge in You from reaching old age, and I seek refuge in You from the trials of the world, and from the torment of the grave.
