Hadith 30797
٣٠٧٩٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن حسن بن صالح عن (السدي) (١) ⦗١٢⦘ عن عدي بن ثابت عن البراء قال: لقيت خالي ومعه (الراية) (٢) فقلت له فقال: بعثني النبي ﷺ إلى رجل تزوج امرأة أبيه أن أقتله أو أضرب عنقه (٣).
Hazrat Adi bin Thabit narrates that Hazrat Bara said: I met my maternal uncle while he had a flag with him. I asked him about this, so he said: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has sent me to a man who has married his father's wife, that I should kill him or behead him.
