في الشهادة على الزنا، كيف هي؟Regarding Giving Testimony for Zina: How Should It Be Done?
Hadith 30743
٣٠٧٤٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن علية عن التيمي عن أبي عثمان قال: لما (شهد) (١) أبو بكرة وصاحباه على المغيرة، جاء زياد فقال له عمر: رجل لن يشهد إن شاء اللَّه إلا بحق، قال: رأيت انبهارًا ومجلسًا سيئًا فقال عمر: هل رأيت المرود دخل المُكْحُلَة؟ قال: لا، قال: فأمر بهم فجلدوا (٢).
Hazrat Abu Uthman narrates that when Hazrat Abu Bakrah and his two companions testified against Hazrat Mughirah, Ziyad came. Hazrat Umar said to him: "No man shall ever testify, insha’Allah, except to the truth." He said: "I saw something astonishing and a bad gathering." Upon this, Hazrat Umar asked: "Did you see the needle enter the kohl container?" He replied: "No." Hazrat Umar then gave the order regarding them, so all of them were flogged.
