Hadith 3024
٣٠٢٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا أبو أسامة عن ابن عون عن إبراهيم (قال) (١): كان علقمة يعلم أعرابيا (التشهد) (٢) فيقول (علقمة) (٣): السلام عليك أيها النبي ورحمة اللَّه وبركاته، ويقول الأعرابي: السلام عليك أيها النبي ورحمة اللَّه وبركاته (٤) ومغفرته، فيعيد الأعرابي، فقال علقمة: هكذا عُلمنا (٥).
Ibrahim says that Alqamah was teaching a villager the words of Tashahhud, saying: "O Prophet, peace be upon you and the mercy and blessings of Allah." And the villager was saying: "O Prophet, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and the blessings of Allah and the forgiveness of Allah." Upon this, Alqamah said: "We have been taught in this way."
