Hadith 3019
٣٠١٩ - حدثنا الفضل بن ركين عن سفيان عن زيد العمي عن أبي الصديق الناجي عن ابن عمر: أن أبا بكر كان يعلمهم التشهد على المنبر كما يعلم (الصبيان) (١) في الكتاب: التحيات (للَّه) (٢) والصلوات والطيبات (٣)، السلام ⦗١٤٢⦘ عليك أيها النبي ورحمة اللَّه وبركاته، السلام علينا وعلى عباد اللَّه الصالحين، أشهد أن لا إله إلا اللَّه، و (أشهد) (٤) أن محمدا عبده ورسوله (٥).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that Hazrat Abu Bakr used to teach the words of Tashahhud from the pulpit in the same way as children are taught. Those words were: All verbal worship, physical worship, and financial worship are for Allah. O Prophet, peace be upon you and the mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no deity except Allah and I bear witness that Hazrat Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is Allah’s servant and His Messenger.
