Hadith 30052
٣٠٠٥٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن أبي مالك الأشجعي قال: حدثني أهل (هرمز) (١) والحي عن هرمز أنه أتى عليًا فقال: إني أصبت حدًا، (فقال) (٢): تب إلى اللَّه واستتر، قال: يا أمير المؤمنين طهرني، قال: (قم) (٣) يا قنبر فاضربه الحد، (وليكن هو يعد) (٤) لنفسه، فإذا نهاك فانته، وكان مملوكًا (٥).
Hazrat Abu Malik Ashja'i narrates that the people of Harmuz and Hai state that Harmuz came to Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: Indeed, I have committed a hadd (punishable offense). He (Ali) said: Repent to Allah and conceal your sin. He (Harmuz) said: O Commander of the Faithful! Purify me. He (Ali) said: O Qanbar! Stand up and carry out the hadd on him, and he himself will count his punishment. So when he stops you, then stop. And Harmuz was a slave.
