Hadith 29568
٢٩٥٦٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبدة بن سليمان، عن مجالد، عن الشعبي، عن ابن عباس أنه نظر إلى الكعبة فقال: ما أعظم حرمتك وما أعظم حقك، و (المسلم) (١) أعظم حرمة منك، حرم اللَّه ماله، وحرم دمه، وحرم عرضه وأذاه، وأن يظن به ظن سوء (٢).
Hazrat Sha'bi narrates that Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) looked towards the Ka'bah and said: Your honor and sanctity are very great, and your right is very great, but surely a Muslim surpasses you in honor and sanctity. Allah, the Lord of Honor, has made his wealth unlawful (to take unjustly), and it is forbidden to harm him, and even to think ill of him.
