الرجل يقتله النفرExplanation of a Man Killed by a Group
Hadith 29510
٢٩٥١٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا إسرائيل عن أبي إسحاق عن سعيد بن وهب قال: خرج رجالٌ سَفْرٌ فصحبهم رجل فقدموا وليس معهم، قال: فاتهمهم أهله، فقال شريح: شهودكم أنهم قتلوا صاحبكم، وإلا حلفوا باللَّه ما قتلوه، فأتوا بهم عليًّا وأنا عنده، ففرق بينهم فاعترفوا، فسمعت عليا يقول: أنا أبو الحسن (القرم) (١) فأمر بهم فقتلوا (٢).
Hazrat Abu Ishaq narrates that Hazrat Saeed bin Wahb said: A few men set out on a journey and a man joined them. When they returned, that man was not with them. The narrator says: The family of that man accused those travelers. Upon this, Hazrat Shurayh said: Bring witnesses to prove that they killed your companion, otherwise these people will swear by Allah that they did not kill him. So the people brought them to Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), and I was also present with him. He separated them, and then they confessed. The narrator says that I heard Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) saying: I am Abu al-Hasan, the experienced one. Then, by his order, they were executed.
