Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Yazid narrates that once, while Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz’s governor, Abdul Hameed bin Abdur Rahman, was present, a man began to pass in front of him during prayer. He pulled him with such force that his clothes were nearly torn. When he completed his prayer, he said that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: If the one who passes in front of a person praying knew how great a sin it is, he would prefer to have his thigh broken rather than pass in front of the one praying.
