العقل على من يكون؟Upon Whom Is Blood Money Obligatory?
Hadith 29386
٢٩٣٨٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا محمد بن بشر قال: حدثني عبد العزيز (بن عمر قال: كتب إليّ عمر بن عبد العزيز) (١) في رجل قال مواليه: لا (نعقل) (٢) عنه، فكتب إلى القاضي أن ألزمهم العقل، فما أشك أنهم كانوا، (آخذي) (٣) ميراثه.
Hazrat Abdul Aziz bin Umar narrates that a letter was written to Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz regarding a man whose masters had said that they would not pay the blood money on his behalf. So he wrote a letter to the judge instructing him to make those people liable for the blood money, because he was certain that they would be the heirs to his inheritance.
