٢٩٢٩٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا جرير عن (مغيرة) (١) عن (إبراهيم عن) (٢) شريح قال: أتاني عروة البارقي من عند عمر أن جراحات الرجال والنساء (تستوي) (٣) في السن والموضحة، وما فوق ذلك فدية (المرأة) (٤) على النصف من دية الرجل (٥).
Hazrat Shurayh states that Hazrat Urwah al-Bariqi came to me from Hazrat Umar and said that Hazrat Umar has said: In the case of injuries to the teeth and head, the wounds of men and women are equal, but if the wound is greater than this, then the blood money (diyah) for a woman will be half of that for a man.
