Hadith 29259
٢٩٢٥٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا علي بن مسهر عن الشيباني عن عبد الملك ابن ميسرة عن النزال بن (سبرة) (١) قال: قتل رجل من فرسان أهل الكوفة عباديًا (٢) ⦗١٦٥⦘ من أهل الحيرة، فكتب عمر أن (أقيدوا) (٣) أخاه منه، فدفعوا الرجل إلى أخي العبادي، فقتله، (ثم جاء) (٤) كتاب عمر: أن لا تقتلوه وقد قتله (٥).
Hazrat Abdul Malik bin Maisarah narrates that Hazrat Nazzal bin Sabrah said: One of the horsemen of Kufa killed a Christian from among the inhabitants of Hira. So Hazrat Umar wrote regarding him that the killer should be seized and handed over to the brother of the Christian. Thus, the people handed over that man to the Christian’s brother, and he killed him. Then another letter from Hazrat Umar arrived: Do not kill him. But he had already been killed.
