Hadith 29258
٢٩٢٥٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا معتمر عن حميد عن ميمون بن مهران أنه أخبره قال: مر رجل من المسلمين برجل من اليهود فأعجبته امرأته فقتله، وغلبه عليها، فكتب إلى عمر بن عبد العزيز، فكتب عمر أن ادفعوه إلى وليه وقال: فدفعناه إلى أمه فشدختْ رأسه (بصخرة) (١) أو بصلابة لا أدري قامت عليه بينة أو اعترف.
Hazrat Humaid narrates that Hazrat Maymun bin Mehran said: A Muslim man passed by a Jew’s man, and he liked the Jew’s wife. He killed the Jew and took his wife into his possession. Then the governor wrote a letter to Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz regarding this matter. Hazrat Umar replied: Hand over this Muslim to his guardian. The narrator says: We handed him over to his mother. His mother broke his head with a stone or a cornered slab. The narrator says: I do not know whether evidence was established against him or he confessed.
