Hadith 2924
٢٩٢٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال؛ (نا) إسماعيل بن علية عن يونس عن حميد بن هلال عن عبد اللَّه بن الصامت عن أبي ذر قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "إذا لم يكن بين يديه مثل (آخرة) (١) الرحل فإنه يقطع صلاته المرأة والحمار والكلب الأسود" (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Dharr Ghifari that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When a person does not have anything in front of him equal to the wood of a camel's saddle, then the passing of a woman, a donkey, and a black dog will break the prayer. The narrator, Hazrat Abdullah bin Samit, says: I asked, O Abu Dharr! What is the difference between a black dog, a red dog, and a yellow dog? He replied: O my nephew! I asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about this, and he said: The black dog is a devil.
