Hadith 29194
٢٩١٩٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا (هشيم) (١) عن إسماعيل بن سالم عن ⦗١٥٢⦘ الشعبي قال: سمعته يقول: إذا حمل الرجل على دابته غلامًا لم يحتلم، (فأصاب شيئًا) (٢) فهو على الذي حمله، (فإن) (٣) كان قد بلغ فاصاب شيئًا فهو ضامن، وفي العبد مثل ذلك.
Hazrat Ismail bin Salim narrates that Hazrat Sha’bi said: When a man seats a minor child on his mount and then that child causes any damage, the responsibility for that damage will be upon the person who seated the child on the mount. And if the child was an adult and then caused any kind of damage, then the child himself will be liable. The same ruling applies regarding a slave.
