Hadith 28756
٢٨٧٥٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو أسامة عن هشام عن ابن سيرين عن شريح أنه قال: في الرجل تفقأ عينه وليس له عين غيرها قال: القصاص، وإن فقئت خطأ فنصف الدية.
Hazrat Shurayh said that if a person’s eye is gouged out, and it was his only eye, then retribution (qisas) is due in return; and if it was gouged out by mistake, then half of the blood money (diyah) is due for it.
