Hadith 28659
٢٨٦٥٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا محمد بن بكر عن ابن جريج قال: قال سليمان بن موسى في كتاب عمر بن عبد العزيز: (١) ما قطع من اللسان فبلغ أن يمنع (من) (٢) الكلام (كله) (٣) ففيه الدية، وما نقص دون ذلك فبحسابه.
Hazrat Jurayj said that Sulaiman bin Musa stated that it is written in the book of Umar bin Abdul Aziz that if the tongue is cut so much that a person becomes unable to speak, then full blood money (diyah) is due, and if it is cut less than that, then half blood money is due.
