Hadith 28658
٢٨٦٥٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا محمد بن بكر عن ابن جريج عن عمرو بن شعيب قال: قضى أبو بكر الصديق في اللسان إذا قطع بالدية إذا (أوعب) (١) من أصله، وإذا (قطع) (٢) (أسلته) (٣) فتكلم صاحبه ففيه نصف الدية (٤).
Hazrat Amr bin Shu'aib narrates that Hazrat Abu Bakr ruled that if the tongue is cut off from the root, then full blood money (diyah) is due, and if it is cut but the person can still speak, then half blood money is due.
