Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Sulayman bin Yasar said that a wound on the face in which the bone becomes visible is, in ruling, equal to a wound on the head in which the bone becomes visible. However, if a defect is created on the face, then compensation will be according to the extent of the defect, until it reaches half the compensation of a wound in which the bone becomes visible.
