Hadith 28276
٢٨٢٧٦ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن ابن أبي نجيح عن أبيه يبلغ به النبي ﷺ قال: كان (من) (١) أريى الربا تفضل الرجل في عرض أخيه بالشتم، وإن أكبر الكبائر شتم الرجل والديه"، قيل: يا رسول اللَّه وكيف يشتم والديه؟ قال: "يسب الناس فيستسب (لهما) (٢) " (٣).
Hazrat Abu Najee’ reports that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, the worst form of usury is that a person exceeds limits in dishonoring his brother, and the greatest sin is that a person abuses his parents. It was asked: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! How can someone abuse his own parents? He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: He abuses others, so they in return abuse his parents.
